Boris Klimek and Lenka Damová are a Czech-Slovak design duo primarily engaged in product and interior design with an overlap into free conceptual art. Both designers successfully graduated from the design department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zlín. They are characterized by a design that does not lack playfulness and story. In addition to following function, they strive to be poetic and stimulate the human imagination.
For the TATRAN collection, the designers were inspired by the typical profile of Tatra cottages. The products carry the story and history of the Tatras. The design of the bed and the possibility of hanging the chest of drawers bring lightness to the products. Despite the distinctive lines, TATRAN furniture retains the purity, simplicity and timeless style typical of Javorina.
